Every 2 weeks May to August - 1 hour sessions to remove Japanese chaff flower.
5 volunteers - girded 2 privets and removed vines
9 volunteers - removed kudzu - massive roots on some of them!
Kathryn Kolb, EcoAddendum, provided forest restoration advice to 7 of us. Above shows one learning - OK to remove prolific native species to give others space to grow.

This is what happens when you don't treat Amur honeysuckle with round-up after you cut it. This is only 2 weeks of growth. Lots of energy in those roots!
Native plants are still there! We uncovered trillium, native fern, black snakeroot, and bloodroot.
